Misao catches on to Kaori and Harashima's secret "affair", and confides
in Konosuke her concerns. However, Konosuke decides to keep Kaori's secret despite the fact that Kaori tries to convince him
that she and Harashima aren't serious- seeing as he's getting married to a rich girl. Konosuke, however can read Harashima
better then anyone all ready and decides to go and see him.
Harashima is having trouble with the factory protestors and Mayako, both in the eagle watch on him.
He's surprised when Konosuke turns up hoping to be friends, especially when it's in front of Mayako: "Don't play with
innocent girls, and make your pretty bride cry!" Konosuke rushes off, leaving Harshima once again in a day dream.
Meanwhile, "Sensei" confides in Harashima that people from Harashima Enterprices had approched him
with an offer- to save 10 of the workers at the factory. After Harashima advices him to take it, a terrible brawl breaks out
between "Sensei", Yosaku and Nakahata, which forces Konosuke to visit Harashima again.
Once Harashima tells him to leave, Konosuke realises that he'll never be able to change Harashima's
mind and agrees. However, he also hits Harashima with a terrible blow- he must never go near Kaori again.
